Yup, I met & got to see her perform live at Virgin Megastore in Union Square last night!
GO BUY HER NEW ALBUM, "ROCKFERRY"!
I honestly, give it 5 out of 5!
This album is pure crack. I love it!

She was AMAZING live. OMG. I mean, I kind of compared her to Amy Winehouse in the beginning, but seeing and hearing her live is completely different. She sang, "Warwick Avenue" (THE BEST! This song is CRACK to me!), "Syrup & Honey" (Equally amazing!), and her single, "Mercy" (She killed this song!). Her vocals are f//king insane. She did it all acoustic and I am sooo glad I got into her. She blew me away tonigh.

Plus, her album is SICK. I've been listening to the album sampler JP had sent me a week and a half ago everyday and that was only 5 of the 10 tracks that are on the CD. The rest of the CD is just CRAZY. I love it. I can't get enough of it.

After the performance, we got to meet her and she signed CDs and no-lie. She is the sweetest thing EVER. Like, seriously. She must've had full out conversations with everyone and since I was with JP me and my friend got a little more time with her and I walked up and she was just like (with her little accent), "Hello there! How are you?" and I was like "I'm fine thank you. I just want to tell you I absolutely love your album! I've been listening to the sampler for a week and a half straight and I just can't stop listening! It's phenomenal! "

And she said, "Oh my gosh! Thank you sooo much! Really? I am sooo happy you love it! That is so wonderful...wow. That means so much!" and she reached out and shook my hand and she was like "Oh wow..! You have a nice firm grip that's a good shake! Haha!" I was like "Oh...ok..haha" She was like "You kinda hurt my hand...." I was like " o....:akward moment: " and she started laughing. She was like, " I'm just kidding! You're so cute!" I was like "Oh okay..I didn't know how to take that haha." Then my friend JP who works for IDJ, took a picture (it came out really horrible..i wasn't paying attention so..yeah..LOL) of us and she handed my CD over to me and said, "Thank you again! Thank you so much! I appreciate it sooooo much, really! Bye Bye!"

I was like "Noooo! Thank you!! It was wonderful to meet you!"

And that was it. It was really nice. But gosh. She is soooo sweet and sooo down to earth. During her performance she was saying how shocked she was that people showed up (about 300). She said she thought no one would show up.

She was sooooo worth it though! If you can, pick up her CD "Rockferry". If you like Amy Winehouse, you'll like her. Trust.
